Office of Information Practices

The State Office of Information Practices (OIP) has revised the Notice to Requester (NTR) form to be used in responding to UIPA record requests.  The form was revised to make it clearer that requesters should be asking questions about their requests and sending any necessary payments directly to the agency, and not to OIP unless the request is being made for OIP’s records.  The new forms (one in Word; one as a pdf that is fillable online) are posted at oip.hawaii.gov on the Forms page.

OIP would also like to remind agencies to submit their Semiannual Log Reports and Checklists to OIP by January 31, 2023.
