Office of Information Practices

As we end the calendar year, the State Office of Information Practices (OIP) would like to remind all agencies to close out the first half of your agency’s fiscal year 2023 UIPA Record Request Log and save it as a separate spreadsheet as your semiannual Log to send to OIP, and to continue with your FY 2023 Log for the rest of the fiscal year.  The semiannual Log should contain all record requests received from July 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.  Each department’s UIPA Coordinator should collect and provide to OIP a copy of each agency’s completed UIPA Record Request Log and Checklist for this semiannual period, which are due to OIP by January 31, 2023.  Training and forms for the UIPA Record Request Log can be found on the UIPA Record Request Log Training page at oip.hawaii.gov.
