Ka‘ili‘ula Ohana Corporation’s Grant Application Public
Ka‘ili‘ula Ohana Corporation’s (KOC) application for a monetary grant from the Community-Based Economic Development Program administered by the State Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism must be made public under the UIPA. Although the grant application reveals the salaries of two KOC employees, the UIPA’s personal privacy exception does not protect the disclosure of this information because both employees’ salaries are paid entirely with the grant money.
