P-CARD REDACTIONS

Posted on Apr 13, 2015 in Featured, What's New

As a follow-up to the state Office of Information Practices’ (OIP) article on April 10, 2015, which generally advised agencies to disclose P-Card records to requesters, agencies are further cautioned to redact confidential P-Card account numbers and any taxpayer identification numbers for vendors.  Oftentimes, a vendor’s taxpayer ID number is a person’s social security number, which should be redacted prior to disclosure.
