OIP WELCOMES NEW STAFF ATTORNEY

Posted on Oct 3, 2013 in What's New

The state Office of Information Practices (OIP) is pleased to announce that it has lured Winfred Pong out of retirement to join OIP as a part-time attorney.  Formerly the Vice President of Administrative and Fiscal Affairs for the Hawaii Tourism Authority and a long-time Deputy Attorney General before that, Winfred brings decades of experience advising various state departments about Hawaii’s open records laws.  Winfred joins the rest of OIP’s experienced staff attorneys in providing state and county agencies and the general public with assistance in understanding and complying with Hawaii’s Uniform Information Practices Act and the Sunshine Law.
