Posted on Mar 10, 2017 in Featured, What's New

Next week is “Sunshine Week,” a national celebration of access to public information. To kick it off, a short interview of the Director of the Office of Information Practices (OIP) will be aired on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. on ‘Olelo’s Channel 53.  Director Cheryl Kakazu Park was interviewed by Lyla Berg for the Island Focus program to give a brief introduction to what OIP does and how it helps the public obtain access to government records and meetings.  The program will be re-broadcast on March 26 at 4:30 p.m. and April 2 at 6:30 p.m., or can be found at minute 23 by using this link or searching for “Island Focus” at olelo.org/olelonet.

OIP has other revelations planned for next week, so please look for next week’s What’s New articles.
