MAHALO FOR SUBMITTING FY 2017 YEAR-END UIPA RECORD REQUEST LOGS

The Office of Information Practices (OIP) would like to thank the state, county, and independent agencies that submitted their FY 2017 Year-End UIPA Record Request Logs and Checklists to OIP.  Special recognition goes to the Department of Defense’s Civil Defense Division, Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the City Clerk of the City and County of Honolulu for OIP for being the first three agencies to submit their Logs, even before the July 31 deadline.  All but two agencies and one county have submitted their Logs to OIP.  MAHALO NUI LOA to the agencies that submitted their Logs!

OIP is eager to compare the data from the FY 2017 Logs to the prior years’ results and has been using the Log data to begin drafting revisions to its administrative rules.  OIP will be soliciting comments on the rules, so keep checking for What’s New articles about the progress of the rules and how you can participate.

What’s New articles are archived on OIP’s website or emailed to you upon request.  To be added to the What’s New list, please email [email protected].  Also, if you would like to receive What’s New articles or attachments in a different format, please contact OIP at (808) 586-1400 or [email protected]gov.
