The State Office of Information Practices (OIP) has added a second webinar and has changed the location of its in-person training on the revised UIPA Record Request Log for FY 2014.  The in-person training on the revised Log will still be conducted on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., but has been relocated to the State Capitol, House Conference Room 325, during which time a webinar will also be broadcast.

Another webinar will be broadcast the next day, December 18, 2013, from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. (no break).  Questions may be emailed by webinar participants, which OIP will answer during or after the webinar, depending on time constraints.  Before the in-person or webinar training, participants should download the training materials that are available on the training page of OIP’s website at oip.hawaii.gov.

Each department’s UIPA Coordinator as well as the persons responsible at the agency level for supervising and for entering Log data should undergo the training for the new Log.  Please click here to register for the in-person training on December 17 at the State Capitol.  Here are the webinar registration links for the December 17 webinar and the December 18 webinar.
