ANNUAL UIPA RECORD REQUEST LOG REPORTS FILED BY ALL STATE DEPARTMENTS

The State Office of Information Practices (OIP) is pleased to report 100% participation by all entities that were asked to use the UIPA Record Request Log for FY 2014.  MAHALO to the Governor’s Office, the Lt. Governor’s Office, all 17 State Departments, the Judiciary, the University of Hawaii, and the Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization for posting their annual results onto OIP’s Master UIPA Record Request Log, which can be found on the State’s open data website at data.hawaii.gov.  After completing its review and verification of the reported data, OIP will prepare a summary report, including charts, that will be posted at oip.hawaii.gov and announced in a future What’s New article.

The Counties and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs began using the Log in FY 2015, so their first reports are not due until January 2015 for UIPA record requests received during the semiannual period from July 1, 2014 until December 31, 2014.
